TRAVEL GUIDE

A travel guide related with the trips and labours of Hercules has been  created with the QR codes. The guide originally developed in English  and then translated into Turkish, Spanish,Hungarian, Romanian and Italian. Each organisation has  narrated the history and tourist attractions of area in their countries  and then incorporated it to the CD both in English and  in their mother tongue. Finally the final product  has been distributed to the travel agencies at partner countries to be used for the tourists.

INTERACTIVE COMIC

An interactice Comics on the  main theme ,12 labours   of Hercules which he  had achieved to be immortal travelling around Europe.The viewer/user are  able to follow the story of Hercules through touching/clicking images  and answering questions.These stories have  also been supported by the students who had participated in the international teaching training activites  held in different partner countries.

MOBILE GAME: TWELVE LABOURS OF HERCULES 

To support teaching  mythological story  of 12 labours of Hercules,a mobile game has  been developed.The mobile game was  structured in a way that each labour  is introduced within a level.The first parts of the game is a running game which represents the travels of Hercules from one place to another around Europe   to achieve different labours.In the second parts,the game focuses on the labours which Hercules accomplished.According to the mythological story ,Hercules  fights against the monsters to kill or capture them.The game starts with an animation to support users  to acquire the  mythological story of Hercules.

DATA COLLECTING PLATFORM

A data collecting platform has been created in the aim of  collecting data from the project partners  in order to monitor the project development and  evaluate the project activities,including the feedbacks. The platform helps    to collect  information in various parts of the project to evaluate the development of the project by Multiple- choice and open –ended questionnaires.In the system, there are some special features such as; opening different questions  clicking on the name of their organisations for project partners, uploading documents in  different file formats on the platform, sending  reminding e-mails to the partners who forgets to upload the reports.

The reports related with the data uploaded by the partners  can be  evaluated visually and  verbally.With the help of the automatic graphics, it is possible to evaluate  the answers of the questionnaires quickly. In developing the system, usability tests have been carried out getting reflection from the  expertises in the field.

 

OPEN ONLINE COURSE: How to Integrate ICT into Classroom Practices

In order to favour the Integration of ICT into learning and teaching process via a learning management system (LMS), an open online course have been developed.The course provides the videos   of the professors from Hacettepe University , who are the  expertises in the area, supported by the visuals,worksheets and suppotive resources .With the participation of the teachers from the partner organisations,the course has been carried out in four weeks composed of the modules;

1-ICT Integration in Education

2-Planning for Integration

3-Development for Integration

4-Instruction and Reflection

The module started with the ICT Integration in Education and 21 Century skills of teachers and students and went on by effective learning environment   and   educational materials.In the following module,  content on how to  design technology integrated lesson plans has been presented to the teachers  and they  have been  encouraged to prepare their own lesson plans.

On the platform,experts have given feedback to  encourage teachers to revise their lesson plans and then  teachers make reflections implementing their plans in their respective teaching experiences.In the process,teachers have been directed to enhance their ability and skills to  develop their educational materials or select the tools they are planning to use in their lessons.To achieve this ,there has been sub activites  and the process has been followed by the experts.

At the end of the course,teachers who have completed all the modules have obtained a certificate of attendance.

 

 

E-BOOK: Various Aspects of ICT Integration in Education

An E-book  entitled “Various Aspects of ICT Integration in Education” focuses on the ICT integration in education has been  created.The book has composed of 12 modules created by academicians from 10 different universities.

In the design process of the book, both  theoretical and application framework has been taken into account and it has been aimed to correlate the relationship between theoretical structure and application.Originally developed in English, the book has been translated into Turkish to reach at wider audiences.
